Dear friends:

A magnitude-7.1 quake struck Yushu County in Qinghai, China in the morning on Apr. 14^th, 2010. This disaster devastated local people’s lives and badly damaged properties, brought an unprecedented disaster to their life and family. The earthquake shocked the soul of Chinese people and peoples of other countries once again. So far, up to 617 people perished in this tragedy and 9,110 people were injured. As the news spread across the world, many countries offered financial assistance and other means to assist those in need.  History tells us that epidemic prevention is one of the important tasks. In an effort help the quake’s victims with a sanitary living condition, and to prevent serious outbreak of epidemic, the Chinese Pest Control Association would like to make an urgent appeal to the international community for your financial assistance, donation of pesticide products, or pest control equipment to help the victims in dire situation.

Please fill in the amount of money or description of the goods you donated in the attached form and then send it back to us (see table). The donations of fund please be remitted to our association’s account; other supplies and equipments are requested to be transported in accordance with local arrangement.
